Events:
- # 24 Penn State Men’s Basketball takes on Nebraska Saturday at 7PM on the Big Ten Network. Milardo’s has the network and a few members have been catching the games together.
- Trivia Night! February 24th at Grump Monk at Broadway. Starts at 7PM.
- March Bowling night. Stay tuned for more details. Dust off your shoes and get your bowl on.
News:
- Some of our group enjoyed a night of PSU hockey and karaoke. We had 25 members and guests! Here are a few photos of everyone enjoying the night.
- Congrats to the Penn State Nittany Lions on winning the Goodyear Cotton Bowl 53-39 over the Memphis Tigers. Another successful season we can’t wait to see what next year brings!
- Rick Stirone is our President Elect. Please see his bio attached. We are glad to have him on board and look forward to his leadership next July.
- Other new board members are Brenda Jackson and Carol Stirone. Be on the lookout for their bio’s coming soon!
- Our membership helps raise money to support 4 local
charities and THON.
- Backpack Buddies- non-profit that provides food, with help of donation, for the hungry children of Horry County.
- Tara Hall Home- a shelter that supports troubled and abused boys.
- Toys for Tots- a campaign to help less fortunate children experience the joy of Christmas.
- Jason’s House- provides a week at the beach for cancer stricken children and their families.
- THON- raises money for Pediatric Brain Cancer research.
- We will be at Milardo’s next football season and look forward to seeing everyone and hopefully some new faces to grow our membership.
