Military Appreciation Game November 8

We will honor our PSAAMB members who have served, or are serving, during the Military Appreciation game on November 8. We need to compile a current list to make sure that everyone is recognized. Charity Presentations

Did you ever wonder where money from our 50/50s, merchandise, and annual golf tournament goes? This past Saturday we presented checks for $2,000 to 3 of our local charities. Thank you Menita Mercury from Jason's House, Bridget Brancato from Help4Kids/Backpack Buddies, and Tabby Shelton from Fostering Hope for the work you are doing for children in Myrtle Beach.

Our 9th Annual Golf Tournament was held on June 21st at Burning Ridge Golf Course. We had 32 foursomes participate, and raised $6,000 for our local children's charities; Jason's House, Backpack Buddies, Fostering Hope, Toys for Tots and THON. Thank you to all who played or came out to volunteer for the event. A special thank you to the sponsors and those that donated toward our raffle prizes. WE ARE...very grateful! Thank you for supporting Toys for Tots

Thank you to everyone who donated toys for the Salvation Army's Toys for Tots program. PSAAMB collected almost 30 boxes of toys for children in Horry County. Special thanks to the businesses that allowed us to put boxes in their establishments.

2024 National PSAA Leadership Conference

In August, Myrtle Beach was awarded the 2024 Penn State Alumni Association Fundraising and Membership Growth Award at the National PSAA Leadership Conference held in State College.

In addition, our chapter president, Michael Martocci, was interviewed for the September/October issue of The Penn Stater magazine. You can find his interview on page 63.
